In short

1. Who we are

TIGIN: Five Banners ("the game") is developed and published by QUANTEK YAPI İNŞAAT MİMARLIK SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("Quantek Group"), Türkiye. Quantek Group is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: contact@playtigin.com.

2. Single-player

Your settings and campaign progress are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them.

3. Online play

Online play is optional. When you choose it, the game connects to our game server and the following is processed:

One-on-one battles exist only in the server's memory while they last. Multiplayer campaigns are saved on the server so players can come back. A campaign save contains the player names, civilizations and the game state. It is deleted when all players leave the campaign, after 14 days without activity, or after one day if the campaign never really started.

Our web server keeps no access logs. Error logs contain no IP addresses or player names.

Legal basis: providing the online service you ask for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)) and our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).

4. Where data is processed

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

5. App permissions

The Android app only asks for internet access (for online play). It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.

6. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Online play only needs a nickname; children should choose one that does not reveal who they are.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Art. 11) you can ask whether we process your data, get a copy, ask for correction or deletion, and object to processing. You can also complain to a data protection authority (in Türkiye: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu; in the EU: the authority in your country).

Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot link data to a person. To delete an online campaign, leave it in the game, or write to us with its room code.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we update this page and the date above. If we add features that process more data (for example voice chat), we will update this policy before they are released.
